2023
The first half of 2023 wasn't very exciting. There was the normal illnesses and schools, etc. Then birthdays started in April.
I had to "jump start" my garden this year, as most of my bulbs didn't return, but the Hosta, the new dogwood tree, and the hydrangea survived the winter.
We took the Grands to Carowinds Theme Park for a day during the April Spring Break. (Us and everyone else in South and North Carolina! It was a beautiful day, but very crowded!)
Birthday for Beth!
Blooming on into May
My special birthday! While the party was not a surprise, the number of guests was surprising and very overwhelming. Our family came together, as well as friends for our various churches and works. We had a great time and Michael and others put a lot of work and time into making the day special.
